Welcome to Oldham Credit Union a community based financial services business which is owned and run by local people providing anyone who lives and works in Oldham Borough with access to fair and straightforward financial services

Oldham Credit Union was formed in 2002 and is regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA). The Credit Union is managed by an experienced Board of Directors drawn from the local community and full time staff based in a convenient town centre office in Albion Street, Oldham.

Oldham Credit Union is a local, not for profit business which is owned by its members and any trading surpluses are shared with members thereby ensuring that money stays within the local economy

The Credit Union has strong links with Oldham Council and works closely with other community based organisations. Providing a friendly, approachable, alternative financial service Oldham Credit Union plays a central role in tackling poverty and promoting financial inclusion in the community thereby contributing to a brighter future for residents of Oldham Borough
