 Oldham PCT signed up

We are delighted to announce that Oldham Primary Care Trust have formed a partnership with the Credit Union.
As a leading employer in the Oldham Borough we were always coming across employees of the Trust working in the same areas as the Credit Union. It was very obvious that we shared the same social values as the Trust and had the wellbeing of the people of the Borough at the centre of what we did.
We hope to soon be able start direct payroll deduction for the Trusts employees in the same way as we do for hundreds of our members within Oldham MBC, First Choice Homes and Oldham Community Leisure.
This has proved to be a really easy way both to save and repay loans from the Credit Union. Members tell us that they never miss it as it comes out before it goes into their bank.
We look forward to a Healthy relationship.
 In the Market for Money

We have moved our offices to 9 Albion Street, Oldham OL1 3BG
Following the success of the last four years it became very obvious that the old office at Manchester Chambers were just too small and did not meets the needs of the membership.
We were delighted to find new offices that really met our needs nearby opposite the Halifax Bank on Albion Street adjoining the Market. The Mayor very graciously agreed to do the formal opening together with some of our members and this has proved to be a very popular move.
We exceeded all our expectations over the Christmas period and were inundated with applications for loans.
It is a shame that we were not able to meet the applications of people who had joined to late to meet the qualification for a loan.
