Engage Account and the transfer to Suits Me
Members who have the Engage Card Account should now have received a communication from Engage informing them their accounts will be switching to a new provider called Suits Me. (www.suitsmecard.com)
Background
The transfer from Engage to Suits Me is happening because the company providing the Engage Account have decided they can no longer provide the account. This decision is outside the control of Oldham Credit Union. Engage is a separate account provided by a separate third party company.
What Will happen?
You should have received notice of the transfer from the Engage Account to the Suits Me Account. The transfer date is 13th January 2025. You should receive your new Suits Me card, Account Number and Sort Code in December.
Important Information.
To ensure you continue to receive payments into your account you need to provide your new account details (Sort Code and Account Number) to whoever pays money into your account. For example your employer for wages or the DWP for benefits or anybody else who makes payments to you.
You will also need to set up arrangements for any payments you make.
Please note. Members who previously had payments made by Oldham Credit Union on to their Engage Card will need to provide us with their new account details to ensure these payments continue. This will not happen automatically.
Members should update their contact details with Engage before the end of November to ensure the cards are sent to the correct address.
Any balance remaining on a members Engage card will be transferred to their new Suits Me card between 10pm on 12th January and 6am on the 13th January 2025. At this time Engage cards and accounts will cease to work.
Do I Have to Transfer to Suits Me?
You do not have to transfer to the new provider, Suits Me. If you prefer not to transfer to Suits Me, you can close your Engage Account. You should do this before 13th January 2025.

If you choose to close your existing Engage Account you will need to open another account with another provider in order to continue to receive your regular payments.
